Add, remove or move members

Who can do this
Every action on this page is Owner only. Team admins can see their teams but cannot add existing people to a team, move them, change their primary team or remove them. If you are a team admin and need one of these, ask your Owner (shown with the Owner label in Admin → Members) or Ergo support.
Add an existing person to another team
- Open Admin → Members and select the person.
- In their memberships, add the team.
The person keeps their current teams. Team admins of the new team can now see the person's meetings.
Move someone or change their primary team
Open the person in Admin → Members and edit their memberships. A person must always belong to at least one team, so add the new team before removing the old one. Make primary team is only offered when the person is in more than one team.
If a membership is labelled Managed by Okta, it comes from your directory sync and must be changed in the Okta group instead.
Remove someone from the organization
- Open Admin → Members and select the person.
- Scroll to the Danger zone and select Remove.
- Type the person's email address to confirm and select Remove from organization.
The Owner cannot be removed.
What happens to their data
- Sign-in is revoked immediately and the seat is freed.
- Nothing is deleted. Their meetings, recordings, transcripts, notes, drafts history and deal activity stay in the organization. Admins, teammates with access, Ask Ergo and reporting can still use them.
- Scheduled future recordings are cancelled and their calendar connection is removed.
- CRM owner mappings that pointed at them are re-linked so automations keep working for the rest of the team.
- Re-activating the same person later needs Ergo support. For leave or a temporary change, change their seat or remove them from a team instead.
Remove someone from one team only
Open the person and remove the membership for that team. You cannot remove a person from their only team; move them to another team first, or remove them from the organization if they are leaving.
